Happy Hello Readers!
The Holiday Season is fast upon us, and I wish you a happy Thanksgiving. Summer gave way to Fall, and Fall is about to do the same for Winter. Yours truly gets restless for warmer climates.
McFarland Publishers has advertised _The Cuban Family_ in the New York _Review_ of Books; I have posted on AuthorsDen an article on my Dad written in 1995; and I have posted a new poem about my beloved father. I hope that you enjoy reading these items.
McFarland Publishers is accepting advance orders for my book, _Female Genital Mutilation: Legal, Cultural and Medical Issues_, to be published Spring/Summer 2005.
All of my other books are offered at half price (plus shipping and handling) to Newsletter subscribers only through December 25, 2004. These requests must come directly to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Other authors are busy and their works are well worth noting: Irene Brand continues to publish Christian novels; Craig Cronbaugh awaits the publishing of his book, _Reaching for a Star_ his story with Frankie Lane, and Robert Anthony Montesino’s work in progress, _Caribbean Blues_.
I’ll tell you how to find each of these items at AuthorsDen. Enjoy.

I’ve also posted an article coauthored with James C. Skaine in 1995 entitled, “Warren V. Keller: A Visit to His Roots” that appeared in the March 1995 issue of _The Hottel-Keller Voice_. You may find this article on AuthorsDen at http://www.authorsden.com/visit/viewarticle.asp?id=15940. To read the article, you will have to click on one link at a time. IRENE BRAND, CHRISTIAN BOOK WRITING
Brand’s Update, October 30, 2004, states:
“Dana Corbit and I have co-authored a Steeple Hill book-A FAMILY FOR CHRISTMAS, which is in the stores now. Dana lives in Michigan and I live in West Virginia, and we're about an equal distance from Indianapolis. Dana is a native of Indiana and has book signings in the area when she has a new book. The two of us agreed it would be interesting, and we hope enjoyable, :-) to have joint signings on our November book. We've set up the following schedule to sign books, and if you live in the area, we invite you to come out and see us. The schedule
“Friday, 11/19 12:00-1:30 p.m.
Viewpoint Books, Columbus, IN
“Friday, 11/19 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Barnes & Noble Carmel, IN
“Saturday, 11/20 1:00-3:00 p.m.
Barnes & Noble Noblesville, IN
“Dana will also be signing her October book, A NEW LIFE, and hopefully the stores will be able to get my December book, LISTEN TO YOUR HEART. I've already received one review on LISTEN TO YOUR HEART from Romantic Times, who gave it 4 ½ stars, and the reviewer said, ‘it has all elements of a fantastic romantic suspense novel. The beautifully described international
settings enhance the intricate plot and exciting action.’"

CRAIG CRONBAUGH, _REACHING FOR A STAR_
Soon to be published _Reaching for a Star_ is a combination autobiography of Cronbaugh and his personal journey to meet Frankie Lane. In part, Craig explains in his book:
“I composed _Reaching For A Star_ with the same endearing approach. Among many other things, this book relates the story of the memoirist (me) who embarked on a quest and succeeded. It’s about a mission that became reality, not by mere chance, but by a strong will, desire, and fortitude.”
I’ll let you know when Craig’s book is published and where you can order it, if you wish.
ROBERT ANTHONY MONTESINO’S WORK IN PROGRESS, _CARIBBEAN BLUES_
Although my interest in Robert Anthony Montesino’s work has to do with his work in progress, _Caribbean Blues_, he has many written works: books, poetry and short stories. Robert is a good story teller and I highly recommend you visit his site at AuthorsDen to see for yourself at http://www.authorsden.com/visit/author.asp?AuthorID=15091. Enjoy!
