Happy Hello Dear Readers!

Summer is winding down and I’m wondering where it went. As one neighbor said, “My summer was about a week long.” A lot happened last summer, but now it is time to return to book writing. McFarland signed me for my tenth book. This book is on the status of the women of Afghanistan in 2007. Due date: April 2008. Short time line, but what makes the pace of life even more fast than usual is that preproduction has begun for my book, _Women Leaders in Africa_. Preproduction tasks make production work easier for publisher and author alike. This stage may continue into the first part of next week; then the page proofs will arrive, indexing and proofing will begin. All of these tasks take place while writing the book on the women of Afghanistan.

_Female Suicide Bombers_ continues on its journey. Recently, a thesis began with a citation from this book.

MAN OF THE TWENTIETH CENTURY

_Man of the Twentieth Century_ has found its way into another genealogy library located in Scottsbluff, Nebraska: Western Nebraska Family Research and History Center.
