When I Think of You

Another little Poem I wrote for my wife. No other woman could ever replace her.

When I Think of You

When I Think of You,
I see the beauty of gorgeous sunsets.

I feel your warmth so true ,
as wonderful as love gets.

I imagine you in a sheer white dress in a waterfall,
with the cool water on your body glistening.

I reach out to you as your name I call,
and you glance my way as if your are listening.

Yet very slowly you fade away,
leaving only the waterfall’s descending stream.

A moment later within a country bay,
you reappear up to your knees like a dream.

Walking ever so slowly through the lilies,
pausing to smell the ones with flowers.

Your eyes giving me the nervous willies
making me see your seductive powers.

When I Think of You,
I feel that you are so near.

In all I say and all I do,
it is almost like you are there my dear.

And though you know who I am,
you know not of my hidden desires.

My hidden crush for you my baby lamb,
for within me you truly light my fires.
