Stillborn in Momma’s Womb

A very sad poem I dedicated to a friend at that time. If you have a soft heart, you may want to grab a kleenex. This is a true story.

Stillborn in Momma’s Womb

Stillborn In Momma's Womb,
without the chance to emerge alive.

Instead you awake in Heaven's holy tomb,
where winged people dressed in white thrive.

At least there you will live in peace,
as well as harmony and joy without fear.

With roads as smooth as a sheep's woolen fleece,
and homes in forms of clouds so clear.

Now you are free of disease and illness,
forever sleep with sweet dreams.

Granted to move freely without stillness,
and never wake with nightmare screams.

Your days will always be bright,
and free from the darkness of Hell.

Your spirit will soar in God's holy light,
for eternity and we know this well.

We had never seen your sweet face,
nor did we have the chance to know you.

So soon God took you to his secret place,
of creation with a large part of our hearts too.

Farewell to you our sweet unborn,
may you dance with glee in roses as they bloom.

Thousands of hearts each day are torn,
for the Stillborn In Momma's Womb.
