Laughter and Love

Laughter and Love,
don't these two words sound grand.

Laughter is a medicine you can't get enough of,
and Love is a power that is seldom bland.

Laughter does the body a great deal of good,
and true Love completes you in every way.

Laughter lets your day pass as well as it should,
and Love makes the world turn every day.

With all of your years together,
you have so much of both it is true .

Every day in all types of weather,
and at times to Hell and back you go through.

Yet to each other you always go home,
because you know where your hearts stand.

Even when you are apart you are never alone,
for in your mind you hold each other's hand.

Laughter and Love,
is something you both share in every way.

To my mom and dad go these words above,
from their son on this Merry Christmas day.

This Poem has been Dedicated to my mother and father. I wrote this for them during the Christmas of 2000. No matter where I go or what I do with my life... I will always and forever love them both dearly and nothing will ever change that.
