Getting Over Losing You

By Jack Roberts

Each night when I fall asleep I find myself looking in your eyes
Every hour of every day you seem to find your way into my mind
I know that I must move ahead but the past is hard to leave behind
Getting over losing you is gonna take some time

I never thought Id see the day youd come to me telling me goodbye
It may have been easier if you had given me a reason why
Right now there is an empty place the shape of you within this heart of mine.
Getting over losing you, Is gonna take some time.

~ Chorus ~

Getting over losing you, is gonna take some time
I cant seem to put away your memory, regardless how I try
Swimming raging rivers just to find another mountain I must climb
Getting over losing you, is gonna take some time

~ Bridge ~

~ Chorus ~

Getting over losing you, is gonna take some time
I cant seem to put away your memory, regardless how I try
Swimming raging rivers just to find another mountain I must climb
Getting over losing you, is gonna take some time

Great song Jack! This one flows so well that when I was reading it, I seem to hear a tune playing at the back of my mind.

Great job and well-done!
