When I Was Blind by Tommy L Thomas Monday, April 06, 2009 Rated "G" by the Author. Share Print Save Become a Fan We go through life not conscious of a higher power. God is good and through happenstance, sometimes he opens our eyes if we let him.
WHEN I WAS BLIND With eyes wide open to see everything A passion for life and the joys it bring Never knew the love of God only to find That with open eyes I was blind. It is not coincidence what happened to me Being an inch from death I began to see When I prayed to GOD to see me through I am alive today, by whom, guess who? I am so thankful for you being so kind To be gracious to me a sinner when I was blind Your Spirit touched my soul And made me whole To see the truth has changed my life I owe it to you *‘JESUS’* by your sacrifice. I reflect back when my life was dead Now upon your word I feed as daily bread I cannot ever thank you enough for opening my eyes and being so kind When you healed the eyes of my heart when I was blind. © Tommy L.
