A Curse I Lay

"So be it so shall it be"

Transcendental Sonnet #1158:
A Curse I Lay

for Silke and against M. H.

A curse I lay upon your head
To bloom in black till you lie dead
For all the misery you cause
Reap all the woe which ever was

A curse I lay and never doubt
Your candle soon shall be snuffed out
But first let me remind you of
Your violence against my love

A curse I lay that you might feel
All of her pain that she might heal
As your life ebbs and as you die
Thank God for justice nor ask why

For you have brought this curse upon your head
For Silke then! Bloom black till you lie dead:

Open doors of destiny
Grant this favor unto me
So be it so shall it be
