"My kangaroo cat bears the spring / And shares it from his soul"

I Think My Cat's Part Kangaroo

I think my cat's part kangaroo
And since he's possessed of
Such long hindquarters I think you
Too would be impressed love
To see him do as right 'roos do

Boing boing a feline pogo stick
When he gets in the mood
Up down and sideways quite the trick
Then time for more cat food
Or kitty treats or anything
He finds within his bowl

My kangaroo cat bears the spring
And shares it from his soul

His tail is like a mighty scythe
To mow down all his foes
He's broad of beam he's brave and blithe
He's got a pinpoint nose
He's sleek and fat but light and lithe
Boing boinging on his toes

I think my cat's part kangaroo
And since he's possessed of
Such long hindquarters I think you
Too would be impressed love
To see him do as right 'roos do
