The things we always think will last forever never do
The only thing I ever knew to pass the past was knowing you
Will always be at home with me how still at this late hour
I see you bloom to be for me my very favorite flower
How everyone knows your name now that I am the one to blame
However lost I get you find how we are forever the same

O Laughing Daffodil I love you so I know you know
But I still like to tell you anyway and so I will today
Tomorrow too how it is you were all along and all the way
Will always be at home with me and why I love you so
How I am the one to blame now that everyone knows your name
However lost I get you find how we are forever the same

Across the sky where you and I are written there in light
By diamonds on velvet blue I send you all my love tonight
