wish I had a button for all the politicos
that I could push when answers turned to rantswers
and have it sound the 'answer's wrong--just wrong' sound
annnnnnnnnnnn would be my reply to those
who never answer the questions they've been asked
who give no semblance nor resemblance to the query
as off to speaking points they safely go
that's the button I wanna push
not just in november
but every time I watch the news
for interviews, or so they're called
and sound the battle cry against
the rantswers of the more informed
than I'm supposed to be
well, so I see and see for sure
someone's fixed it all for me
my new remote has a button called 'mute'
and so I'll practice pushing it
'til I can find the sound effect I do so surely seek
