On the day troops come home from Iraq it was most fitting to read this poem. They are fortunate to be returning for Christmas with loved ones. May they all enjoy eachothers' company. But Let us all pray for a moment for the sacrificed lives and where an empty place at the table awaits. May the forgiving and loving Lord, ease their pain and make them grateful for their service. This poem will go a long way to heal wounds.

| the truth you weave through this poem, that freedom is never free, is not a popular message today. There are many who have been brought up believing freedom is automatic and can never be lost!
