I'm a lemon with a twist
I'm a dewdrop full of mist
I'm a child filled with bliss
I'm but a gentle kiss

I'm invisible but I show
I'm a burnt out lamp that still does glow
I'm bold though you may not know
I'm a horn that does not blow

I'm used but still brand new
I'm a mystery without a clue
I'm false but forever true
I'm myself and also you

I'm deaf but I can also hear
I'm afraid but yet I have no fear
I'm forever constant throughout the year
I'm smart and my actions make it clear

I'm with the flowers opening their buds
I don't fight with fists but with hugs
I'm a push without the shove
Creeping softly I am *LOVE*

I see the hearts of millions set up in flares
I taste the bitter words and nasty stares
I'm someone sometimes living in strife
Creeping softly I am *LIFE*

having just come from your piano poem, my first thought here was 'songs in the key of life'.. though not my words, I think they fit.. this just hums along and is simply fascinating from start to end. I love rhyme and rhythm.. you have a beauty in this one. katy.

Jing, This is quite grand! I love the rhyming scheme you've used! This is so true. It flows like soft butter on your tongue. And the picture you have above it is brilliant! You've really got a good one here!
