Your wood so old and weathered...
beaten by the wind, rain and sun.

Yet, there is still a mystery about you...
of memories hidden within your dry boards.

Do you have stories of young lovers...
sneaking in your doors at night.

Can I hear the words embe dded in your walls...
words of promises and love forever.

Can you tell me of a father and son years ago...
as they drank from you, talking of life.

Did a mother sit at your side with her daughter...
as she told her of loves yet to come.

Oh, you look so weathered with your wood so dry...
but your beauty glows from the memories inside.
