An injustice with the justice system to ponder.

Unfair?
By
Bill Cottringer

Sitting here in a prison cell,
Wondering about a system
That punishes marksmanship,
But rewards a poor aim;
Shot and killed a man,
Now I’m on death row,
Next cell block over though,
Sits a man who shot someone,
With the same vile intentions,
But he had poor aim and missed,
He’s up for parole next month;
What a system!

Not all is fair, the reason I guess justice is sometimes blind. You have hit the mark with this one though...

Be always safe,
Karen
