A short poem on the different ways in wich we measure importance.
|
I could be many things
but I could not be them
without you
I don't know how to measure life
in achievements
All I want to take pride in
is you and me
and our beautiful family.

Elizabeth
Family is very important, as is our relationships with others, so it is crucial to keep a sense of perspective.
You have conveyed that message in its simplest and most direct form.
Kudos to you

A lovely sentiment. But we will be remembered much more for poetry than we will for adding to the population to establish family ties. We cannot be fulfilled through others, only through ourselves.

| 'Nuff said. But I'll say more. I heard an expression just recently and it when somewhat like this, "If it doesn't contribute to the family you have no reason to be doing it." |
