I have been at a loss for words until last night, not sleeping again this came to me.

Each New Day

No one knows what's in store for
their life,
But our Lord Jesus will make
it alright.

The depression sets in and so
does the pain,
Sometimes it feels as if I have
nothing to gain.

I cry in anguish as I face
the day,
Just praying that the pain
would go away.

Another sleepless night wrecks havoc
on my mind,
I must keep the faith that one day
I'll be fine.

So, take my pain Lord and
show me the way,
To make the best of
each new day.

Very touching poem, Daniel. I understand your pain all too well. My daughter has suffered with depression for 20 years. It's a helpless feeling to see your child suffer and be totally unable to help her. All a mother can do is love her child through the pain. Good job..I felt every word.

Hugs,
Anna

Daniel, this is such an honest and sincere pray of faith. I have NO doubt things will get better. With trusting Jesus the way that you do- hang it there. It will happen. I know it!Please take care and I love your prayer of surrendering your pain to Jesus. He will know what to do.

With Love,
Cindy

Life contains much struggle and pain; yet, by looking to Jesus and offering praises instead of grumbles, we can live victorious lives. (I'm speaking to myself, regarding my own struggles) This is realistic, Daniel, and reflects your faith in Him.
