If I put them in the hallway,
it adds to my dismay,
if I place them in the toilet,
it reads just about ok.

If I want to cheat a little,
and appear a little smart,
I make sure no ones looking,
and move it back before the start.

I always take my clothes off,
and say a little prayer,
before boldly stepping forward,
then falling into deep despair.

Something takes a hold of me,
as my insanity prevails,
but after christmas, dont you just,
hate standing on the scales.

I darn`t look!

Do you try standing on one foot? I used to have mechanical scales and puuting my weight on my toes helped but the current Digital ones are impossible to fool.
