Another found poem. I was obviously a bit hungover and mad at the world.

Headache upon waking,
I play the music extra loud
As an odd strategy
To drown out the pain.
Country does well for a while—
Slide guitar seems to soothe.
Between songs, sometimes,
The pain, shooting back
Into my brain,
Makes me run to the bathroom
With nausea.
The trip there after a flawed swallow
Was the worst
And had me feeling like I couldn't go on.
This was all before I experienced
Fluorescent lights
While trying to work,
And the ever-maddening
Deliberations of the public-
Access computers
Drove me mad with rage
That I had no outlet for.
Soon work succumbs to more
And better prayers for a better
Outcome to the night
Than sending sweet 'txt's
To some sweet little girl,
Wholly undeserving
Of late-night ogling
From one who
Has no good intentions
And leans towards malice.
