A little something of my life.

 Cookie-cutter arts,

I churn out five-a-day.
My vitamins, once so wholesome,
Keep me up at nights now.
Don't drink the water,
Keep this haterade instead.
Too much work, now, to be
Lying around or wild or out.
Lying down no longer keeps
Me sane,
As it did in the past,
And the bars will no longer have me.
Once I entertained,
Once that was all that was needed.
But since the stage has shrunken
And the checks have dried up
All I get are jeers.
And when I hear a handclap
I hope it's only thunder.
