Just letting out some good ol' golden oldies.

People wonder
What it's like—
I reach out
And when I
Find those
That engage—
I must also.
I must keep my hand stretched.
I must keep the good soul from drowning.
So what if he's older?
So what if those other things
 only serve to distract.
So then I keep up a natural front,
So then I can reach a new application.
Another struggle—more to keep focused.
Another tug—
A rope tied to that,
Which in me,
Might keep things in line.
