We all read death in a different way, just as it does us....

You are gone now
For I am here
and you are there
And I wish to steal myself away to you
but the only way to do this is in sleep
I cannot sleep forever
I must wake
I must live each day
I wish I could be rid of this heartache of you
I wish I could learn like I used to
Laugh like I used to
Dream like I used to
I have trained my mind not to dream
so that I am not haunted by you
But now I never dream
Even good dreams are passed by
Begone these memories of you
Let me go in peace
But you will not
So I give you no choice
I will walk with you for now
And then I will let another join us
Soon you will be no more
for I will walk with him alone
Your death will not imprison me
My heart will not forsake me
You do not want me to forget
So I will not
You are my first memory of this lovers realm
And a first memory is never forgotten
and does not stop us
from maing another
Death will not deal me
