The Runaway Horse

Often when I hear a joke I turn it into a poem. I believe homor is a powerful medicine. When I need a good laugh I just look in a mirror then I know God does have a sense of homor too.

The Runaway Horse

Some say that blonds are not too smart.
Of course that is not true .
For blonds can do most anything,
That anyone can do.

Just consider now this beauty,
Who felt the urge to ride,
A horse that stood with saddle on,
As she walked by it's side.

Although she'd never rode a horse,
In her there was no fear.
She jumped onto the horses back.
The road ahead was clear.

With reins in hand the horse took off,
At such a wild pace.
It seemed to her that he must think,
He's running in a race.

Although she yelled, slow down, slow down.
He never missed a stride.
Then gradually she felt herself,
Start slipping to one side.

She tried to grab onto his mane,
But could not keep her seat.
As slowely down she fell beneath,
That horses pounding feet.

With a foor caught in the stirrup,
She let out such a scream,
For it was now a nightmare ride,
That started out a dream.

A Walmart greeter sprang to life,
He ran to help of course,
And saved her from a terrible fate,
When he unplugged the horse.
