Pools of sadness, in the dim twilight...
webs of black, towering in the canopy
of regret, where I wander endlessly,
where you left me suddenly.
Sighs are long, as tethered leaves reach
for light, waning in muted tones
of ashes and ember, falling to the strange,
Eyes cannot see what the heart ignores...
but search endlessly in a maze of despair.
Once feral and green, lushness has transformed itself
into a cold and barren garden.
