Silent whispers, darkest nights,

sink beneath the crimson sheets.

As I hear the wanton murmurs,

of a heart that still must beat.

Left behind, a trail despairing,

for each sunset that has passed.

But each hour travels forward,

such relentless misery cast.

Memories linger like a stranger,

whom I wish would disappear.

Drifting through each waking moment,

haunting dreams with deathly fears.

Nothing in the realm of reason,

can explain each twist of fate.

Only that perhaps our vision,

becomes lucid...much too late.
