Twins
They rose from the sea...
One trembling and oozing out fear,
throwing tantrums, havoc, ill will,
spewing lava, smoke and hot springs.
Ever present even today
and a threat to all on the land;
with shudders she spits and she spills.
Though barren and grey are her soils,
hot mud flows beneath, dynamic
great fountains amuse with displays.

The other...is regal and grand.
Fills valleys with rivers and streams:
while hills stretch their tentacles high.
From the peaks and the boulders and crags,
waterfalls slide, cascade,
meander and twist through the land.
The glaciers, the ice, and the fiords:
only a start to the splendor,
the grandeur and honor bestowed.
Spellbinding Majesty - Castles touching the sky,
with their shoulders surrounding us
on all our sides -
as God does, when we are in strife.
They rose from the sea...
