After the crash came a changed perspective, a different outlook on what is life.

After the Crash
We crashed on the beach The plane is a wrack
All there is – is water and sand
Sand and water, water and sand –
Where in this picture do I stand?
Where do I fit
How do I blend
Into this tide
That quickly expands?
Yesterday I knew
Where I was going
What I was to do
Today is different
I do not know
What awaits me now
What I am to do
Thank God we are sound
Thank God we are safe
Does anything else matter?
Has anything changed?
The only change is
I now realize
That all is uncertain!
…All is as was…
Only I have changed
