Time stops for no one.

You take from me,
Both body and soul,
Heart and head,
Draining love and wisdom,
An hourglass with endless sand.

A sundial moves on.

Bells ring.
People sing.
Joy and laughing.

Get off you knees!
This, too, shall pass.

Deep wounds, deep scars.

And so goes time...

Marching forward.
Always.

It leaves its destitutes
Gazing back.

Wondering...

Wondering is good for us all and you express yourself very well here. What is to be done with rejection, just put it aside? I don't know but rejection isn't fun, and we all try to wonder what will come next in our life and what happens does make us as we are.

As this is the first of your work I have had the pleasure of reading I am truly impressed...it spoke to my heart and my mind and gave me somthing to sit back and digest as to how it also pertained to my own life. In poetry that is always a bonus.
