A young Christian is having a bad day while at school. This is what's going through his mind and how he responds upon seeing another Christian at the school.

Is there anybody here

Who loves my Jesus?

is there anybody?

That hymn is supposed to be an anthem of priase,

a rousing call for believers to respond "Yes!"

He's my Jesus and I love Him too.

It doesn't seem that way as I slog through

this battlefield with books and blackboards,

I feel forskaen in this mournful place.

The Lord frgave me and gave me

a new life when I gave my heart to Him,

He opened my eyes, but all I see

are the ugly things hidden behind this

gleaming facade.

Temporal, empty things posing as plesures

So here I march towards the office,

on some trivial task that won't be remembered for long.

I look up ahead

and see a familiar face and smile.

There is somebody here that loves my Jesus.
