There once was a world,
In the middle of the sea,
In the middle of the sea it was.
Faces were happy,
Yes as happy as can be,
In the middle of the sea it was.

So sing, sing
The wonderful thing,
Of the wonderful world long ago.
Sing, sing,
The wonderful thing,
Of the wonderful place to go.

In the very little world,
In the middle of the sea,
With the faces bright with joy.
Faces were rosy,
Yes as rosy as can be,
With the faces bright with joy.

So sing, sing,
The wonderful thing,
Of the wonderful world long ago.
Sing, sing,
The wonderful thing,
Of the wonderful place to go.

Children played,
Happily indeed,
With very many games to play.
Playing hide and see,
Yes hide and seek.
With very many games to play.

So sing, sing,
The wonderful thing,
Of the wonderful world long ago.
Sing, sing,
The wonderful thing,
Of the wonderful place to go.
