Poem written waiting for the power to return..

The windy rainstorm came about
They called a Nor'easter
The pails were dancing all day long across the yard and fiercer were the winds that blew the branches  as the trees swayed all about
the trouble is why did it have to blow the power out?
Now  I sit  here in my chair in Darkness not knowing..                             Not knowing when will the lights go on so in candlelight I wrote this poem

Blackness..with a tinge of Light's shadow from the sky
Why oh why o Why  oH why
Did the power have to die
made me wonder what would be..Darkness came on suddenly  Blackness in the Night of Dark..I sing my song to you tonight...
Inspirations flow through my head all the colors blue and red
all I have to cling onto tonight is
Blackness caused from winds and rain
The Nor'easter did sustain

Enjoyed this one Rosalie, in fact, I really enjoy a good stormm and having the lights go out for a while. It gives me a sense of what life was like before all the electronic noise was invented to deprive us of the power to communicate with pencil and pen...or for that matter with voice...
