Dragon Slayer
You ask if it's worth it,
with these scars and burns, and
constant vigilence.
Aye, and more's the pity that
you had to ask.
I love the gold, the power, the
adrenaline rush as
we circle the powerful beast;
I love the smell of smoke and
blood, and the sound of
steel to scale, and the slither
of my spear through
dragon flesh.
I love the dying screech
when my sword rams home,
and adding the claws
to my collection.
It's made me strong, and though
I may not live long, I'll
live rich and high and
when I die,
I'll die a warrior's death --
and wait for you
on the other side.

| One of my favorites here. Love the images you constructed so with just a few phrases. Yes, if we don't stand for something, we'll fall for anything. J'nia |

Interest in both thought and content. Always better to die by the sword for what one believes in then to sell out in order to live longer...
Be always safe,

| Good to see you again Dallas. Blessed be the death-defiant, for they shall ride the whirlwinds!! I can hear the wailing of the slain on fields choked with acrid smoke and rivers of warm blood! Well done. |
