You ever have one of those days?
Monster
There’s a monster hiding
inside
lurking in my mind
crouching in my heart
gnawing on my soul
stalking my sanity
There’s a monster hiding
inside
baring its fangs
sharp’ning its claws
growling its hate
glaring its rage
there’s a monster hiding
inside
watching from within
waiting for its chance
testing locks for weakness
screaming to escape
and show
the world
that I’m
the monster
no longer
inside

Oh yes!...but that one ain't a scary one, just a pathetic furry grimacing wannabe that ain't worth to walk in my darkest dungeons...
