You may be a bit young to recall this Sis Karen, but this poem and painting brought to mind the words of a song by "The Fifth Dimension" called "Love Lines Angles and Rhymes". . .part of the lyrics are below:
Love leads the lines of love in circles and angles
Love runs deep like a tunnel with a pendulum beat
That touches the heart in many directions
Moving the mind in silent reflection
Of the lines that touch the corners and fibers
Of the feeling that keeps running inside you
Cycles of fears with the longing and tears
Lettin' out the needs and laughter of
Sunshine, love shine
Touching the fibers of the feeling inside you
Letting out the things you hide. . .
The Fifth Dimension have commented for me on this. . . I can't do any better.
blessin's

The painting added a wonderful ambience to an exquisite piece of writing. I live in Missouri but my heart remains in New York.

Dear Karen,
Thanks for posting a review to my last poem (not really a poem but a thankful message). I thought I'd pop in and read your poetry and am so glad that I did. This is wonderful. It is clear that you're greatly talented and I look forward to reading more...and more

| This is beautiful and says so much. I don't believe in accidents. The mystery in the drawing, a coming together that was meant to be. So much can happen "all by a single candle light." |

| I like this. It reminds me of O Henry's The Green Door. A chance prompt leads to a chance encounter that saves a life and sparks love. |
