An intense chill
racing through my body.
The light, of a white candle
searching within me.
I found the light
and extended my heart out to you.
The heat that rises in me
from the lingering scent of your cologne,
memorable touch,
and your lips as sweet as champagne
pressing against mine,
heats my body in an ecstasy
melting down winter's fury.
Never let the light from the candle burn out.
Our union together is an eternity
and will outlast existence.

White lights will be in my windows this year. Had to downsize to low income apt and give up the trailer after Tom died but can keep the candles burning, the white lights shining, and seek his spirit throught all eternity. Love never dies.

I like the blending of holiday images--champagne and cologne and candles with the ideas of light romance and sexuality-- Winter is a time to prepare for new growth and new light, too. lots and lots in here
