My feeling during a very serious illness. Home became both a sanctuary and a jail while I recovered.

I look out,

From the jail which is mine,

Sometimes mental, sometimes physical,

I'm tired,

I'm weak

Others have endured more, I know

Turn me into a paper airplane

Let me fly free

Crumble me up

Let me be

For my days, keep going

I see no relief

Blindly I know, but none the less

No end in sight,

To stay and convey to those which I no longer know

or

To go and simply know the days are no longer pain
