A tale of a very special cat.

WOWSER

Wowser is a cheeky cat
he really is no fool
he sits there making loud remarks
upon the garden wall.

He aims them at the passers by
who journey down his street.
They’ll never know who’s making them
as cats could never speak.

They may hear expletives or
a complement or two
but Wowser’s always honest,
the things he says are true .

Speaking is a talent that
only Wowser shares.
All you get from other cats is
high pitched mews and stares.

Wowser knows a lot of things
he is a wise old sage
He has views on life and fashion
that can only come with age.

If you venture down his street
do not wonder why
you hear a cheeky loud remark
as you're passing by.

You’ll look around you in surprise
and cry out “Who said that?”
but no one else is in the street
except a cute black cat.

Consider it a privilege
that Wowser gave his time,
a comment on the way you look
isn’t such a crime.

He’s the main attraction
of a visit to this street.
It’s now frequented by publishers of
fashions most elite.

The latest trend in fashion
has been influenced by that.
Who would suspect that those designs
came from a cute black cat.
