~ Braving the Currents ~
by The Poetess (SRP)

I gazed with skepticism wondering if I'd dare.
If I were to fail, would anyone care?
It was so vast and wide - this long forgotten sea!
But I dove straight and strong to save what was left of me.
I braved the deep end of a pretentious calm,
To find a treasure cradled in my palm

Simply wonderful. Most of our treasures are hidden. If we're brave enough, we 'll always find them.

A powerfully meaningful metaphorical write, Poetess. I find the symbolism very effective and evocative as well. Love and best wishes,

Very nice! What a vast a wide sea indeed. But your resolve brings hope and a treasure. This is very good.

I like how you have a straight-forward approach. This one is a guiding light, and is very clean. Thanks for this, Poetess. What's in your palm; do you still have that treasure?
