I am making a choice, and I choose me,
from now on I'm walking into my destiny,
no more lies, no more pain, no more sadness and cryin.
I've been loosed from my shackles and now I'm free.
I thought you were a blessing but you were just here to test me.
And now that I've passed with flying colors you're gonna miss me.
You should've known better than to disrespect me but it's cool,
because as far as I'm concerned.... the sea of forgetfulness is where you'll be.
When it comes to me you can forget me too,
because I have ZERO love for you.
You tried lie to me, hurt me, and make me cry,
will I stand for it again? No not I.
Not this one, this because I'm movin on alright?
Tryin to make things right, just wanna live my life.
You can't stop me. No you can never stop me,
because I can do all things with the strength Christ gives me.
And will I make you ask, well only a fool would ask that.
Because as long as I'm standing on the promises that cannot fail,
neither will I, not with Jesus by my side.
You tried to shake me, break me,
now you hate on me and try to imitate me,
but you can never duplicate me.
Because there's only one me
and that's the way God intended for it to be.
You can't hold me back, no not anymore.
I don't know what you wanna see me suffer for.
You don't love me, you don't even care about me,
you just tolerate me and treat me like I'm the "black sheep".
But I'm not, guess what? I'm not anymore,
because the day I confessed my sins, I was reborn.
I was plunged beneath the cleansing flood,
covered with the blood of Christ
and came out whiter than snow alright?
And O how I love Jesus, beacuse he first loved me!
And it's because of that love that I have been redeemed.
And if anybody asks you, just who I am,
tell them that I am REDEEMED.
So today, I'm making a choice and I choose me.
From now on I'm walking into my destiny.
No more lies, no more pain, no more sadness and cryin.
I've been lossed from my shackles and now I'm FREE.
I am free because I HAVE BEEN REDEEMED.
