Candela lit with wings
Flies across the regions
Of my very soul
Sparkling in remembrance
Of yesterdays passion now gone

Lite felt once, remembered no more
Warmth from yesterday
Not reaching into today
I remember not, my soul once afire
Her breath no longer lingering

The tablet of my now parched heart
Sealed in darkness this night
Inhaling, yet ressurected not
Lifeless and still, my heart moans
Candela, cast your blanket of lite upon me

Yet, in darkness I sit
Lite dancing dimly, not finding my eyes
Darkness standing deep and tall
Now reigns high upon my wilting heart
Remembering, and forgetting in one breath

Warmth find me
Candela guide me
Heart of mine, hold me
Candela embrace me
Till she returns.....once more

OUCH. This is almost like sleeping to dream her. Tormenting verses that pull at a reader's heart strings. Very fine poetry.

Thank you,
