Here it is again, this love for you growing stronger. I sink back into my chair and close my eyes and think; if only you were here. Was Eternity built upon moments such as these? Where each passing second is full of such tenderness, such warmth? What kind of infinity and forevers await such a Truth of Passion? I've come to see that when I fell in love with you, I was never to land, but instead I am to continue falling, one foot at a time... deeper and deeper into this unending hole of boundless loyalty and affection. Where does the start of a love grow? From the twinkle in your eyes when you smile? Or how about from the peacefulness of your sleep? And when does it stop growing? At the age of ripeness? No, it is then to be plucked and savored deep inside the heart. To allow its nutrious sweetness to shimmer within the core of one's soul. And I step back and I think, would I be able to breathe without you? My love, my life, my soul bottled into one being. And I find myself here beside you, holding your hand, and falling... falling for the angel this world has yet to dream of. |
