Print Save Become a Fan
Look at you, growing up so fast.
All arms and legs,
Leaving childhood to the past.
It seems to me, I held you tight,
As ever so gently
I rocked you to sleep last night.
That canít be right, not at all,
For now this morning
Youíve grown up so very tall.
Whereís that curious little boy,
Who opened up his heart,
Filling mine with so much joy?
Itís you; with a ring in your ear,
As those big baggy clothes
Make it all quite clear.
You are rushing to become a man,
Heading straight towards
Destiny, with such a rock solid plan.
Seems youíve decided where & when,
Your life is going,
Knowing just what you will do then.
I am proud of you as I can be,
Look deep into my heart
So that you are able to see.
No matter where you may go,
There is just one thing,
I need for you always to know.
You are my all and everything,
I thank my God daily,
For blessings you invariably bring.
