Lemon Crush
the sweet sun of summer
holds true
beatin' down/blessin' up the parts of me
exposed
daydreams catch me slippin'
wounding me, yet again
.s sticky sweet
water/melon/water
runs down my hands and thighs
dries up . my feet
i dig deep...
i grind hope into the dirt
steady planting seeds
for future sweet meat
i dig deep...
surely, these will not sour
