Sufi Poetry can be some of the hardest to work with as it can be difficult to tie down.

Poet: Muhammed Ibn
Born: 1165 AD
Poem: Wonder

Serenity,
Refuge secured by thorns!

I meld my visions into soft forms:
A Psalm for the dead and dying,
A shade tree for the weary traveller,
For the lost, a place of sanctuary,
A Spiritual Thin Place, for the Pilgrim,
Holy Writ and Script, for the Student,
A font of living water, for the thirsty soul.

My paradigm is acceptance;
when I open my eyes I see its need,
and by Faith I reach out.
