Makes no excuse for what is done

For only we allow the hurt

To rule our lives from sun to son.

Yes, indeed we seem to do that / I can happily say, however, that within the past year I have laid my burden to rest / I shall live out what remains for the rest of my life guilt-free / It has been a long time in coming, but it is here and I think I should be congratulated / Free! Great Gawd Almighty! I'm free at last!
