The longitude of southwest Missouri prevented me from seeing the full eclipse since it occurred after sunset local time. It wouldn’t have mattered anyway, a cloudbank moved in moments after I took this cool photo and buried the show completely.

Sunset solar show

Clouds part for a moment’s peek

While Luna nibbles

 

Cumulus curtains

Slowly eclipse the eclipse

As nature’s drapes close

That sure is a cool picture of a partial moon. I don't think I've ever seen the moon so bright. ;-)
