The accepted passage of time need only be a misunderstanding of what time really does.

Tick tock

says the old Grandfather clock

as it mutters its way

through each passing day.

Tick tock tick tock

I'm bored I must say

but I suppose this is the way?

or maybe I could

have some fun

instead of all this hum drum.

So the very next day

he said it this way

tock tick tock tick

and you should see the faces,

as everything started

to run in reverse

today never came

it was the one before.

Doors were shut instead of opened

people were all walking backwards

until it came

to the very begining

and there were no more

tock ticking.

Had enough of this

said the old Granfather clock

as he gave a sigh

then returned to tick tock

tick tock.
