The wind is powerful, yet sometimes its power is theraputic.

When the wind shouts

and yet is so calm

its like a peace the stills your soul

helps you remove

what thinking sometimes holds.

Like a friend

you feel it carry you along

keeping your determination strong.

Shouting to tell you

'Your not alone'

here bad things you can let go,

let them escape into the sea

release them into the wind

till no more you can see.

Drowning out your own voice

the wind insists

you can rejoice.

No need to hold on so tight

to bitter things

 that refuse to see light,

no need not to let go

of pains that hurt

refuse to go

let the wind rise up

take them away,

restore peace and another calm day.
