We moan and we groan

about violence on our streets

about the world getting worse

then how much more so

do you think God could moan

at what mankind does to this Earth.

We place on high money in our hands

then bleat and cry

when its value falls to the ground

yet tell me why

God does not charge

for the free use of everything

in his back yard.

Dont seem right

dont seem fair

that we cannot sort our lives out

cause so much dispair,

then turn around heap the blame on God

we give nothing back

pay no rent and care not,

maybe its time

for God to begin

start where it hurts

send the bailifs in,

time to ask back

for whats rightfully his

weve had long enough

theres no excuses.
