Fictional poem of a dog I often see.
|
My dog has three legs
and uses them well
not only to get around
but get sympathy and how.
But watch him perform
bad habits he had em all
still cocks his leg
and has a fall,
attempts to scratch
with no leg there
people watch confused
as he seems to groan
when all the time
nothings there.
But you watch him run
thats his special feat
cant do a straight line
with only three feet,
always to right
off he errs
confuses the cats
who watch bemused.
But a three legged dog
he is still the same
and thats the way
he will remain.

Cute,I know this was done in humor, but I did have a cat of many years that I made a walker for when she lost the use of her hind legs from a stroke. Think I did a pretty good job for her too. She could not jump any more, but she could still walk and followed me everywhere...
Be always safe,
